absolutely loving the Quartz Gin from Rifters lately. It’s one of those gins where every sip has real depth of flavour – bright citrus and almost eucalypt notes up front, then this gorgeous herbaceous, juniper warmth that just hangs around. You can taste the elderberry, wild thyme and mānuka in the mix, so it feels very Central Otago in a glass – layered, a bit wild, and super moreish. If you’re into gins that are smooth but seriously interesting (not just “pretty bottle” hype), this one is a must-try.
