Sea Lovers Gin

A coastal-inspired New Zealand gin, distilled with marine and traditional botanicals for a fresh, savoury, and distinctly oceanic character.

Sea Lovers Gin is a creation of Lunatic & Lover Distillery, developed in collaboration with gin expert Jill Mulvaney. Designed to capture the essence of the sea - sweet rain, salty air, and the textures of kelp - it blends marine and classic gin botanicals in a unique single-shot distillation process using a 1,000-litre hand-beaten copper pot still.

Key ingredients include wild-harvested North Island kelp, sustainably sourced oyster shells from Waiheke Island, rosemary, lime, and classic gin spices. After distillation, the spirit rests for three weeks before being slowly proofed to bottling strength, ensuring balance and refinement.

Every bottle is crafted with sustainability in mind, using post-consumer recycled glass, cork closures, and no plastic packaging. A portion of proceeds from each sale supports marine conservation initiatives, making Sea Lovers Gin as environmentally responsible as it is flavourful.
