Lunatic & Lover’s Silver Botanical Rum is the distillery’s original creation and New Zealand’s first botanical rum. Distilled from molasses in copper-pot stills, it undergoes a second vapour-infusion distillation with an inventive mix of botanicals, including dandelion root, horopito, mairehau, orange peel, burdock root, cacao nibs, nutmeg, bay leaf, orris root, coffee, pimento, and cardamom.
The result is an expressive spirit that bridges the gap between rum and gin - retaining the rich sugar-cane base of rum but lifted with aromatic botanicals. With no barrel maturation, the flavours remain vivid and fresh, making it a versatile choice for sipping neat, mixing into creative cocktails, or reimagining classic rum serves.
