Waiheke Whisky 'Oak & Rye' is an American‑style bourbon‑inspired whisky crafted from a mash bill of 51 % corn, 21 % rye, and 28 % malted barley. After distillation, this spirit is aged in American white oak casks within the distillery’s oceanside barrel house, allowing the island's maritime climate to gently influence its character. The aroma is rich with toasted oak, spice and vanilla. On the palate, creamy corn sweetness, smooth caramel and an undercurrent of summer grass pave the way for a warm, spicy finish highlighted by a clean rye bite
