A single malt corn whisky made from 100% NZ malted grains, aged in an ex-rye barrel and crafted entirely in Christchurch.

Dusky Corn Whisky – Batch DS4 is a South Island single malt corn whisky, made exclusively at Herrick Creek Distillery in Christchurch. This batch is built on a mash bill of 70% malted yellow corn, 15% malted wheat and 15% malted barley - all grown in New Zealand.

It’s aged for two years in a 10-gallon ex-rye whisky barrel, which imparts bold spice, oak depth, and grain-forward character. Classified as a “single malt corn whisky” due to its use of 100% malted grains, DS4 is unblended, small batch, and available only through the distillery.

Designed to champion a distinctly New Zealand style, it’s a pioneering release in the local corn whisky space.
