A barrel‑aged version of Lighthouse’s signature gin matured in Pinot Noir barrels for a richer, more complex character.
Lighthouse Barrel Aged Gin starts with Lighthouse’s standard botanical gin crafted using spring water from the Remutaka Ranges and their nine‑botanical recipe. The gin is matured in Pinot Noir barrels from Martinborough Vineyard, which imparts additional depth and complexity to the spirit. On tasting, juniper and citrus notes remain prominent while underlying oak, subtle spice and a savoury richness emerge from the barrel ageing. The result is a more aromatic and layered gin that works beautifully neat or in cocktails where gin with depth and character is desired.
