The Cambridge Distillery Co. is a boutique distillery in the heart of Waikato, New Zealand, producing premium gins inspired by the natural surroundings of Cambridge.
Founded by James and Will, The Cambridge Distillery Co. began with a simple goal: to make a good gin. What started as a lifestyle shift — trading long commutes for a stronger sense of community — led them to Cambridge, a picturesque town known for its gardens, lakes, and woodlands.
Their passion for the place soon evolved into crafting spirits that reflect the character of their new home. Drawing inspiration from the local terroir, their gins feature botanicals foraged from the landscapes that surround them. Each small batch is designed to capture sensory memories and a deep connection to the region.
The Cambridge Distillery Co. celebrates the community and culture of its namesake town, offering visitors a taste of the region through carefully crafted spirits. With a welcoming cellar door and free tastings every weekend, the distillery has become a small but meaningful part of Cambridge’s story.
